Journey to a Corporate World

Hi, my name is Shairah Mae Adoremos, you can call me Shai. Ever since I was a kid I am a timid introverted person. I have always found it hard to communicate with people. With the help of the internet, I can communicate with people without being physically present to talk to them. I don’t usually go out and spend most of my time online doing activities such as gaming, socializing using a 2D character as a Vtuber, and learning skills while watching YouTube videos.

Entering the new technological era, everything we do now is all on the internet. We can study free courses online, find remote jobs, and even communication is all online. Nowadays millennials like me are online to learn, socialize, games, and work. While browsing the internet I stumble upon side hustles and remote jobs to try, one of which is the Virtual Assistant job. I researched Virtual Assistants and learn what they do. Being a virtual assistant is practically an assistant who runs at a remote location, as opposed to the corporation’s business. They will assist with jobs, such as management, social media, accounting, and more. There’s been a growing need for virtual assistants from business owners who wants assistance on several tasks. Estella advised that I enroll for training at Leonexus after observing my intense interest in a virtual assistant position.

As the training for two months went by, I realized that this was something really new to me and feared that I might never be cut out for such a job but they help me remind myself that I have to keep learning and hone my skills to move forward. While I have never personally worked as a virtual assistant I remember some people who have made a living working as a virtual assistant. She has been living her life freely by the means of having her own personal time and being able to take care of herself and her family while still working. That convinced me to take action and join the Leonexus team because I take care of my grandmother who lives alone away from the city. With that said, I wanted to help out by working at home but still providing what my grandmother needed.
